The next Takin' it to the Streets is 10am on Saturday February 20th!  Please join us in the outreach or to pray for the people of Greensboro!

Takin’ it to the streets is an outreach program that is designed to share God’s love with the people in our community face to face.  We send teams out into the surrounding neighborhoods to let people know that there is a God who loves them and is concerned about them and that there is a church in their area that will love them and help them grow in a real relationship with God.

Mark 16:15-18 tells us:

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved ; but he that believeth not shall be damned .  And these signs shall follow them that believe ; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;  They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Matthew 9:37-38 says:

Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;  Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
In obedience to God’s word  we are out doing exactly what Jesus commanded us to do, all the while expecting to reap a harvest for the kingdom of God!

Every time we go out we are inundated with stories of opportunities to share God’s love, pray with people about specific situations in their lives and lead people to Jesus. Our volunteers always come back super excited and ready to share more of Jesus everywhere they go!

While teams are out on the streets we have people back at the church praying for the leading of the Holy Ghost for all those with whom we come in contact.
